Hello Beautiful Souls,

I want to share with you some things about Marianne Williamson, that you may or may not know. And I’d also like to give you some insight into why I am so inspired by this woman.

I will also share a few take aways from spending the day with Marianne Williamson in Sydney, thanks to Jono Fisher and the incredible Wake Up Project team. Jono did the most beautiful opening meditation connecting a wave of consciousness in the room which set the scene for a magnificent day.

Let me clear a few things up about Marianne Williamson, yes she wrote the poem ‘Our Deepest Fear‘ and yes, it is often incorrectly referred to having been written by Nelson Mandela.

Myself, I love the poem ‘Our Deepest Fear’, it rocked my world from the first time I heard it in 1998… I’m sure you agree.

Marianne Williamson is one of the most enlightening and if not the best teachers of ‘A Course In Miracles‘, Marianne did not write a course in miracles . In marianne’s book a return to love Marianne shares she first picked up the course in 1977. Some of you will know and love her affinity with A course in miracles and some of you may be put off by that. If the course is not for you I encourage you to read Marianne Williamson’s Books and or listen to her speak on youtube.

Marianne Williamson is a Courageous Pioneer and Gamechanger…

I also love ‘A Course In Miracles’. Yes, it is a very full on text and it can be a little, if not completely, overwhelming for some, including me from time to time, to read and apply.

Studying and applying A Course in Miracles in my life and work since 1998, with the help of Marianne Williamson’s books make ‘A Course In Miracles’ much more palatable, easy to understand and apply to everyday life.

But here is the thing that I love the most about Marianne Williamson.

Marianne Williamson is a champion for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and does so much to shed light on these eight (8) goals that were agreed upon by the United Nations in the year 2000, with a deadline to have achieved them by 2015.

With her unwavering commitment to the MDGs, Marianne lit a fire in my belly igniting my soul to answer the call!

Marianne Williamson ran for Congress in America in 2014. I thought this was outrageously bold and a courageous move,  putting at stake the people who may no longer listen to her speak, as her speeches became obviously very political.  I am Australian, I rallied behind Marianne as much as I could from Sydney posting and sharing here campaign through social media, wishing and praying that I could vote. Marianne was reaching a larger audience than those of us interested Metaphysics, Spirituality, Love, Light, Peace and ‘A Course In Miracles’.

Listening to Marianne talk about the Millennium Development Goals, I understood her motives from stalking her speeches on YouTube.

When I heard Marianne was running for congress I was so excited for the potential shift in consciousness that would occur on a global level from having such a heart centred, fiercely intelligent and no bullshit WOMAN in the running!

I love Marianne’s books  ‘Return To Love‘, whenever I read it I am immediately reminded to stop being a bitch and to be the light. Marianne is the the ultimate Spirit Rebel clearly with a cause,  with a deep focus on the greater good for all of humanity.

When life had brought me to my knees, listening to Marianne speak or reading her work got me up off the floor, put my ego back in its place and helped me move forward.

One of  biggest take aways from Marianne’s work for me, is in her championing of the Millennium Development Goals. Until I heard Marianne talk about them I did not know what they were and some of you reading this will not know what they are, so please click here to read about them.

Get involved so we can all be on the same page about the 8 goals. There is an urgent call to take action together we can change the face of humanity and… the planet!

Australian friends check out results if you would like to answer the call. America and other countries check out results

I listen to Marianne because I am blessed to have food and health care, my daughters have access to education and careers of their choosing, clean water… the list goes on.

Marianne is being the change that she wants to see in the world and hopefully, like me, I’m sure you want to be that change too.

I have so many take aways from last Sunday but, for more you can check out this blog…. it sums it up perfectly.

I wanted to share with you my view on Marianne and why we all need to watch, listen and take note. Marianne is working towards what we all want, which is to end poverty, war and take care of the earth… sure Marianne is not the only one but she is certainly a force to be reckoned with – especially with all of us behind her.

Love Christy xx
